Hi, I'm Nawal.
If you've found your way here, something in you is ready, even if you're not quite sure what for. That quiet sense that there's more to understand about yourself, more peace available to you, more ease in your relationships; that's worth listening to.
I'm a trauma-informed psychotherapist and counsellor working with Muslim women who are carrying the weight of early experiences, relational wounds, and the particular exhaustion of navigating cultural expectations, family dynamics, and faith; often all at once.
Many of the women I work with are managing life well on the outside. They show up for everyone around them. But privately, they feel stuck, disconnected, or quietly overwhelmed and they've never had a space that truly understands the full picture of who they are.
Bloom with Nawal is that space.
My approach is trauma-informed and depth-oriented, drawing on psychodynamic, somatic, and compassion-focused therapy. For those who wish to, we can also work within an Islamic psychological framework honouring both your emotional wellbeing and your faith as part of the same journey.
This is not a space where you have to explain your culture, justify your faith, or translate your experience. You can simply arrive as you are.
Sessions are held online, so you can begin your healing journey from wherever feels safest.
